In general, luxury cars and top sports cars are the main models for vehicle manufacturers to apply carbon fiber at this stage. The application of general vehicles in the short term is limited by the price factor and has not been opened. According to the use and penetration of each vehicle, the demand for carbon fiber composites in the automotive field will reach 25830 tons by 2018, including 450 tons of top sports cars and 24000 tons of luxury cars.
