Product Introduction
With the appearance of different Hurac á n models, Lamborghini has written the next chapter in its great brand history. Hurac á n presents innovative design, technological strength, driving exploration spirit, as well as track and sales records. Whether it's daily driving or track performance, Hurac á n focuses on providing supercar passion in various environments. Each generation of Hurac á n models is loyal to the Lamborghini brand concept, and in sports events, Hurac á n is not only the protagonist of the Lamborghini single brand Super Trofeo Super Challenge, but also proves its dominant position in GT3 events worldwide.
Nine years of success since 2014
The success of the Hurac á n model has been ongoing for nine years, during which 12 road versions and 3 racing versions were launched. The rich product range makes the Hurac á n model still highly attractive over time. Since 2014, 71% and 29% of customers have chosen the hardtop and convertible versions, respectively. In terms of market performance, over 32% of the Hurac á n models have been delivered in the US market over the past nine years, ranking first, followed by the UK and China markets. This steady success continues to this day: The Hurac á n model has made an outstanding contribution to the brand's sales record set in 2021, delivering a total of 2586 units, with significant growth, partly thanks to the positive response of customers to the Hurac á n STO.
2014: First Hardtop Model LP 610-4
The first Hurac á n hardtop model LP 610-4 debuted at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show. It uses Four-wheel drive and can output 610 horsepower. It takes only 3.2 seconds to accelerate from static to 100 km/h, and the maximum speed reaches 325 km/h. The innovative parts of this model include Lamborghini ANIMA driving mode selection system, LPI inertial platform system with on-board gyroscope, dual fuel injection system and LED light source of the whole vehicle, becoming the industry leader in the Supercar market segment. In September 2015, the Hurac á n LP 610-4 convertible version was unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show, equipped with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine that delivers the same power as the hardtop version. It accelerates from stationary to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 323 km/h.
2015: Hurac á n LP 580-2 brings a rear wheel drive driving experience
Compared with the Four-wheel drive Hurac á n LP 610-4, the Hurac á n LP 580-2 uses Rear-wheel drive and is equipped with a lower power engine. The same 5.2 liter V10 engine can output 580 horsepower, with a peak torque of 533 N · m and a maximum speed of 320 km/h. Without Four-wheel drive, Lamborghini engineers were able to reduce the weight of Hurac á n LP 580-2 by 33 kg, making the net weight of the body only 1389 kg.
