Development History

In 1993, the new 850Ci replaced the 850i, and two models were released: the 840Ci, which used a 286 horsepower 4.0-liter V8 engine of 740iL, and the 850CSi, which was equipped with a 380 horsepower 5.6-liter V12 engine.
