In terms of appearance

The all-new BMW 8 Series coupe features a signature dual kidney grille at the front, featuring a flatter and irregular shape. The frame and interior straight spokes are all made of bright silver chrome. The model is also equipped with an active closed air intake grille. 

The interior of the headlights is treated with smoked black, and the dual L-shaped daytime running light strip is the latest style from BMW, combined with the upper headlight eyebrow; Both high and low beam headlights use LED light sources, supporting the optional laser headlight function, making the illumination range wider. The lower grille and large air ducts on both sides are the logo of the M sports package.

On the side of the body, the new BMW 8 Series coupe features a slimmer body ratio and a more traditional sedan like silhouette. The smooth sloping roof curve, combined with a robust body shape, makes the side windows and cabin area appear very small. The waistline runs all the way to the rear of the car, blending with the lines above the tailgate. The air duct behind the front fender is made of carbon fiber material, with an M logo on the body and a prominent side skirt design. The bottom of the rearview mirror is decorated with chrome, cleverly integrated with a circle of side window trim. 

The rear part of the car continues the spacious and low lying design. The upturned 'duck tail' is paired with the concave tailgate. The slender tail light design blends naturally with the rear of the car, with a smoked black lampshade and an internal LED strip style derived from the BMW family. The positions of the reflective panels on both sides of the rear bumper are designed with fan-shaped air ducts. There are two exhaust tailpipes with a large area of black surrounding and a wide caliber flat shape on both sides. 

In terms of interior design

In terms of interior design, the all-new BMW 8 Series coupe adopts a completely different design concept from other models under the brand. The T-shaped central control structure has symmetrical design on both sides, and the central functional area is slightly tilted towards the driver's side, emphasizing BMW's consistent handling concept, irregular shaped central control touch screen, and crystal gear lever. In terms of interior materials, a large amount of soft materials and leather wrapping are used above the center console and on both sides of the central floor. The surface is also decorated with double stitching technology, along with chrome trim strips and silver trim panels in the details.

The three spoke multifunctional steering wheel is designed as an M sports package, with a leather wrap with stitching on the surface and silver trim embellishments. The buttons on both sides are responsible for the control of the trip computer, Bluetooth voice, multimedia adjustment, and some vehicle safety auxiliary functions. The instrument panel adopts the octagon full LCD design. The new car is equipped with a 12.3-inch semi suspended LCD touch screen. 

Power aspect

In terms of power, the all-new BMW 8 Series 840i coupe M Sport Package is equipped with a 3.0T inline six cylinder turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 340Ps and a maximum torque of 500Nm. It is matched with an improved 8-speed SteptronicSport transmission and is also equipped with an overall steering system.
