Introduction to Ferrari F430
The Ferrari F430 is Ferrari's entry-level sports car, which made its debut at the 2004 Paris Auto Show. It is a successor to the previous generation entry-level sports car, the Ferrari 360, and is also Ferrari's most "civilian" sports car.
Although it is an entry-level model, the F430 still has excellent performance and a striking appearance. Ferrari officials do not underestimate this model and have introduced many modifications, among which the F430 modification commemorates Ferrari's 16th F1 championship.
Vehicle appearance
The Ferrari F430 marks the birth of a new generation of Ferrari V8 engine two door sports cars, inspired by the research results of the Ferrari racing department. Its highly innovative design and cutting-edge technology are perfectly reflected in this road version of the sports car. The most important innovative equipment includes the Electronic Differential (E-Diff), originally developed by Ferrari for its F1 single seater racing car, as well as the Manettino knob installed on the steering wheel, which can directly control the vehicle's dynamic performance comprehensive management system.
The lightweight and compact 4308ml engine equipped with the F430 is a brand new product that can provide 490hp of power, with a specific power output of 114hp/l and a torque of 465Nm. It has excellent performance. Accelerating from 0 to 100km/h only takes 4 seconds, with a maximum speed of 315km/h.
Every aspect of the Ferrari F430 model is deeply influenced by F1. For example, the car is equipped with a carbon ceramic brake system as standard. The brake discs provide excellent braking force, allowing drivers to have confidence in having complete control over the vehicle even in the most extreme conditions. For a road version sports car, the F430's aerodynamic design is highly innovative: its carefully honed exterior design creates special airflow, increases pressure, and improves cooling effects. Every part of this Ferrari is carefully polished to provide excellent performance and driving pleasure.
Carbon fiber characteristics
·High strength - tensile strength above 3500MPa
·High modulus - elastic modulus above 230GPa
·Low density, high specific strength - density is 1/4 of steel and 1/2 of aluminum alloy; 16 times stronger than steel and 12 times stronger than aluminum alloy
·Ultra high temperature resistance - can be used at 2000 ℃ under non oxidizing atmosphere conditions, and melted and softened at a high temperature below 3000 ℃
·Low temperature resistance - At a low temperature of -180 ℃, steel becomes more brittle than glass, while carbon fiber still has elasticity
·Acid resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance - can withstand corrosion from concentrated hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, and other media. Its corrosion resistance exceeds that of gold and platinum, and it also has good oil resistance and corrosion resistance
·Low thermal expansion coefficient and high thermal conductivity - can withstand rapid cooling and heating, and will not explode even if the high temperature suddenly drops from 3000 ℃ to room temperature
In addition to the above characteristics, carbon fiber also has characteristics such as friction resistance, fatigue resistance, high vibration attenuation, high electrical and thermal conductivity, high X-ray penetration, and non magnetic but electromagnetic shielding effect.
