Mercedes Benz Brand History
Mercedes Benz is one of the world's top Luxury car brands, and is considered to be one of the world's top automotive brands. Its perfect technical level, excellent quality standards, innovation ability and a series of classic Coupe styles are commendable. Internationally, the brand is commonly referred to as Mercedes, while in mainland China it is referred to as' Mercedes', translated as' Mercedes' in Taiwan, and 'Pingzhi' in Hong Kong.
Since December 22, 1900, Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft (DMG) presented the world's first Mercedes branded sedan to its customers, Mercedes Benz has become a model for the automotive industry. Its brand logo has become one of the most famous automotive brand logos in the world, and for over 100 years, the Mercedes Benz brand has been a pioneer in automotive technology innovation.
On January 29, 1886, two Germans, Carl Friedrich Benz and Gottlieb Daimler, obtained the patent right of the world's first car, marking the birth of the world's first car. Subsequently, this day was called the birth day of automobiles. More than a hundred years have passed, and Mercedes Benz has already passed its centenary. Over the past hundred years, with the booming development of the automotive industry, many car manufacturers have emerged, but in the end, it was just a flash in the pan. Over the centuries, only five car manufacturers, Mercedes Benz, Peugeot, Ford, Buick, and Skoda, have survived the baptism of time.
In 1885 and 1886, Carl Benz Benz (full name: Karl Friedrich Benz, Chinese name: Karl Friedrich Benz, referred to as Karl Benz for short) and Gottlieb Daimler produced their first cars because of the word "Benz" in the brand name and the translation of "Karl Benz" on the official website of Mercedes Benz in China. In 1883, Carl Benz started the stove and established the Benz Automobile Company in Mannheim.
Gottlieb Daimler applied for patent for the Trident logo in 1909, but Mercedes Benz belongs to a round badge. Gottlieb Daimler's logo comes from his letter to his wife. He believes that the star he painted on the house at home will bring him good luck. This three pointed star also symbolizes the development of Mercedes Benz in three directions: sea, land and air. In 1909, in order to commemorate the mass production of his car, Mr. Gottlieb Daimler changed the gear pattern in the Trident into a laurel branch to show victory. The "Mercedes" in the logo is named after the beautiful daughter of Emil Jellinek, the Car dealership in Austria. Mercedes has a lucky meaning in Spanish.
