RB26 engine

The RB26 adopts an inline 6-cylinder layout, which has excellent running smoothness and good linear output of the engine from the beginning. At the same time, it adopts a double overhead camshaft design with 4 valves per cylinder. The cylinder body is made of thickened cast iron material. Although it does not have an advantage in weight, it can withstand a power output of 1300 horsepower without strengthening, which also lays the foundation for future performance upgrades.

The RB26 engine is also equipped on Nissan's subsequent GT-R BCNR33 and BNR34, but it can only be considered a perfect match with BNR32, and its glory and reputation also come from this.
