Product Introduction
Cars have become a familiar means of transportation in our daily lives, and we also know a little about car headlights. Car headlights, also known as headlights, are the focus of all the lights in the vehicle and the heart of the car. The headlights will become a "weapon" in the driver's hand, using them to indicate the driving behavior of other vehicles. Reasonable use of headlights should be achieved by changing to low beam when passing, and returning to high beam in a timely manner after passing. When passing through intersections and overtaking, changing to high and low beam should be used as a reminder.
So how are the headlights made up?
If the headlamp assembly is dismembered, it can be roughly divided into Lens hood, reflector, lens, etc.
1. Headlamp structure - Lens hood
A Lens hood (light shield) is equipped on the front and upper part of the filament in the vacuum wick. Its function is to block the upward direct light when the filament is lit. If the upward light from the front headlights of a car is not blocked, it will cause serious glare to oncoming drivers. Moreover, in rainy or foggy environments, these scattered lights will form a light curtain in front of the car, reducing the visibility of the driver.
2. Automotive Headlamp Construction - Reflector
Most enclosed vacuum wick reflectors are parabolic surfaces formed by parabolic rotation. In the production process of reflectors, aluminum is evaporated and coated on the inner surface using a vacuum coating process, which has extremely high brightness and can increase the brightness of the reflected light by more than 6000 times compared to the filament itself.
3. Construction of Automobile Headlamps - Light Distribution Mirror
To provide protection for the entire headlight assembly, the light source of a car's headlight passes through a reflector to form a beam that is difficult to meet the requirements of regulations for headlights. It is also necessary for the lens to adjust or widen or narrow the beam of light, in order to form the required lighting in front of the car. This function is achieved by the headlight lens (headlight glass). The headlight lens is composed of many small prisms that are convex and uneven. It can refract and scatter the light reflected by the reflector to meet the light distribution requirements of the headlamp, while also spreading a portion of the light to both sides to widen the horizontal illumination range of the headlamp and achieve the desired light distribution effect. Some car headlights only rely on the special structure, complex shape, and high processing accuracy of the reflector to meet the light distribution requirements. However, the design, calculation, mold accuracy, and processing technology of producing this type of reflector are still very difficult.
The lighting effect also depends to a certain extent on the angle of illumination, and the lighting adjustment device can fully unleash its potential.
