Company Profile

Payment method

The Ferrari 488 is a supercar under the Ferrari brand, equipped with a 3.9-liter V8 twin turbo engine to meet the needs of high-speed sports.

When the 488GTB was launched with this 3.9-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine, it actually declared the comprehensive return of turbocharged models - apart from the somewhat experimental California T, the F40 that was revered by countless people 30 years ago was also equipped with a V8 twin turbocharged engine.

Model features

The comfort and quietness of the 488GTB during highway cruising are not like a powerful MR supercar - at least not within the speed limit range. Combined with a suspension system with a bumpy mode, there will be no overly sensitive bouncing when crossing speed bumps or manhole covers on rural roads, and it is even more approachable than the already easy-to-use 458 Italia. The 7-speed transmission adopts a dual clutch structure, and the logic, timing, and smoothness of automatic shifting are the best in Ferrari's history. It is controlled more smoothly than the 650S or Huracan. However, it is recommended to be patient when in traffic, wait for the car in front to go further, and then lightly press the accelerator to follow up. After all, the powerful torque is destructive to the semi engaged clutch, and even smooth electronic control is difficult to fully compensate for this. The only annoying thing is the squeaking sound when lightly stepping on the brakes at low speeds. Fortunately, the flaws are not hidden. The new generation carbon ceramic brake system of the 488GTB is the most advanced product in its class. Even in winter when the temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius, the initial braking force will not be as dull as previous similar systems. The anti heat attenuation performance and stability performance at high temperatures naturally need not be mentioned, making people very down-to-earth.

It is undoubtedly a fast car, with further improvements in aerodynamics and electronic assistance systems based on the 458 Italia, making the 488 GTB a very easy to get started Ferrari. But even though engineers strive to tame this beast like V8 turbocharged engine according to Ferrari's tradition, the wild and aggressive acceleration is still hard to hide, and it has the ability to become a very scary Ferrari. The 488GTB, like walking a tightrope, perfectly balances tradition and rebellion. It is a milestone and even a manifesto - before LaFerrari's V12+KERS technology is transferred to the next generation of Ferrari 12 cylinder street cars, perhaps the V6 variant of the 488GTB V8 twin turbo engine (think of the one on the Alfa Romeo Giulia four leaf clover version) will give birth to a new generation of entry-level Ferrari.
