Cloud-P Suspension of Yuntian for X70

On June 7th, the Vehicle Information Network reported that the X70 off-road vehicle had gone on presale at the Shanghai Auto Show for 1.098 million yuan. Thanks to the new intelligent hydraulic body control system Cloud-P, which was first adopted by the X70, the vehicle can realise three independent adjustments of height, stiffness, and damping; four-wheel height independent adjustable ability; water depth can reach 1 metre; and its reliability is stronger than air suspension.
Fabulous Cloud-P Technology
The X70 has up to 17+1 driving modes, covering the entire user experience and providing users with an infinite number of driving control options. The Cloud-P technology provides a solution for the comfort pain points of hard-off-road vehicles. With its continuously adjustable damping and the fusion camera and laser radar pre-look system of the road surface, it can well isolate the influence of wheel jumping on cabin comfort. The U8 can also perceive the car's body posture and driving behaviour to dynamically monitor the vehicle in frequent start-stop scenes in cities. The Intelligent Calculation Centre can instantly output the best strategies to increase the stiffness and damping to suppress the sudden acceleration rising and sudden braking bowing, thus alleviating the discomfort of the drivers from motion sickness.
In off-road scenes, the U8 has a 150mm super-long active adjustment stroke, which brings super-strong off-road passability and a water intake depth of up to 1m without water intake. In high-difficulty off-road conditions, the whole vehicle is easily in a semi-imbalance state with a single-wheel or diagonal wheel hovering. With four-wheel linkage technology, the U8 can send oil to the shock absorber of the hovering wheel, lengthen the suspension stroke, improve wheel adhesion and vehicle balance, and ensure the effective output of all-wheel drive.
In addition, the U8 is equipped with a small Easter egg configuration. When the vehicle is stopped in a rugged place, the U8 can level the indoor level with one click to meet the requirements of rest and entertainment.
Intelligent Suspension with Soft and Hard Collaboration
The hydraulic suspension system of Yunze-P is mainly composed of compound springs, active hydraulic special shock absorbers, continuous damping control modules, multi-level stiffness control modules, four-wheel linkage modules, attitude control modules, multi-level buffer accumulators, suspension control accumulators, suspension motor pump modules, etc. The core of them is Yunze’s smart calculation centre, which controls the stepping motor in the continuous damping control module through the electrical signal and drives the valve core to move and control the valve opening so as to realise the control of the flow rate of the oil and liquid passing through the valve in unit time and the soft and hard adjustment of damping.
It is not difficult to see that the coordination of hardware and software has given the Yawang U8 two faces, and the addition of spiral springs has greatly increased the reliability of the suspension, which can cope with more complex off-road conditions than air suspension. According to on-site technicians, the Yawang U8’s Yundan-P underwent rigorous testing, including various complex off-road environments.
